I’m an experienced flight instructor based in San Diego with over 1,200 hours of dual given and a 90% first-time checkride pass rate.

I began my career as a CFI at EVA Flight Training Academy, where I gained airline-style training experience, and later moved to San Diego to continue teaching independently.​

Known for being friendly, patient, and reliable, I’m dedicated to helping every student succeed. With proven results and a student-focused approach, I’ll guide you toward your aviation goals with skill and confidence.

Will May 

Hi there, my name is Will May. I’m an FAA-certified flight instructor born and raised in San Diego. I first began my aviation journey in college, attending San Jose State University’s aviation program while simultaneously conducting my flight training and earning my ratings.

I’ve always had a passion for teaching others; after graduating I decided to combine my love of teaching and aviation and become a flight instructor.

My instruction philosophy is to make the flight training process enjoyable and unintimidating, always prioritizing the individual needs of each student and tailoring my instruction style to their
unique needs.

My priority as your flight instructor is always to put your success first, ensuring
you feel comfortable and respected throughout our training together.
